Rick focuses his practice in the areas of criminal defense, personal injury, and workers’ compensation. He has handled workers’ compensation cases representing claimants in front of the Industrial Commission of Ohio. He also has extensive experience with various issues involving the bureau of workers’ compensation, payment of medical expenses, and ADL (alternative dispute resolutions). Rick has argued many hearings before District and Staff Hearing Officers at the Industrial Commission of Ohio. He has also conducted numerous hearings in front of the entire Industrial Commission on novel issues of law in Columbus, Ohio.
Rick has represented defendants charged with misdemeanor and felonies in municipal, state, and federal courts in Ohio. Prior representation includes charges of drug offenses, assault, OMVI (DUI), and robbery. Rick has also represented clients in post-conviction relief matters to obtain early release from prison. He also has experience in expungement of criminal records (sealing of criminal records).
